Hold My Lines! A Hands-On Guide to the Locks

Learn to Lock Through Like a Pro. Nervous about navigating the locks? This hands-on session is designed to build real confidence on the water.

Train aboard Lunasea, a stunning 42' Chris Craftn Commander, and learn:

  • Line handling
  • Lock etiquette
  • Safety procedures (large & small locks)


Event Details

Arrival: 3:00 PM (by land only)

Departure: ~4:00 PM (as soon as crew is assembled)

Return: ~6:00 PM (may vary with lock traffic)

Parking: Available onsite

No Guest Dock, participants must arrive by car/land.


What’s Included:

  • Guided, hands-on instruction
  • Beverages & light snacks
  • All required safety equipment onboard


What to Bring

  • Layers (it’s cooler on the water)
  • Optional: your own fitted life jacket
  • Optional: small dish or drink to share
